Course Description

This 1-hour CPE course offers a general educational framework for the accounting complexities of TGEs. Attendees will gain insights into structuring considerations for TGEs with DAOs, Foundations, and US Labs, understand critical tax implications for digital assets, and adopt best practices for wallet hygiene. We’ll explore emerging issues like potential tax treatments across L1s and L2s (with Arbitrum as a key example) related to wrapped tokens, derivative tokens, and leveraging tokens as collateral for DeFi protocols. Additionally, we'll touch on other anticipated trends for digital assets in 2025, including the potential for digital asset tax legislation.
